I Photograph weddings, because every wedding is different, every wedding has its own story, its own unique light and own special places,

When I meet a couple they tell me about their lives, themselves, and why they want to get married.

This helps me understand who they are.

Often the best pictures come when you say nothing at all. When you simply observe everything happening around you

On the big day, the couple, their parents, their siblings, and all the people around them are so full emotion.

Those emotions inspire me and fuel me, as I capture them.

• How far will you travel for a wedding?

Although I live in West Cork and love to shoot West Cork weddings, I also love to explore and travel and being able to photograph all over the country is one of the perks of the job for me! I have my own car (and a passport…) so can pretty much get anywhere. Reasonable travel costs may be added if your wedding is outside of the Co.Cork area.

• Do you require a deposit and when is the balance due?

Yes, a €250 deposit is required in order to make a booking with the balance due on or before the day of the wedding.
- 10% of this deposit is put into an online savings account and given to the West Cork Animal Welfare Group.
Why? I love animals and my heart breaks every time I see one go missing, looking for a new home. There are thousands of shelters around the world, so I thought it would be a small start to try help out a local Charity.

• Payment methods?

Cheques and drafts are super, but I find the easiest method of payment is by bank transfer.

• Is there a contract?

Yes. It details all the information you might need.

• What's your photography style?

In a nutshell, it's about capturing things just the way they happen. No posing, no setting up shots (apart from the family shots), no bossing around.

It's an unobtrusive, personal and honest documentation of the day delivered in a natural, relaxed and unposed way.

• We're interested in booking you but want to chat further before we pay the deposit - is this possible?

Of course! I want to make sure I’m the best fit for you both and to give you a feel for what I’m like as a person, as well as a photographer. If you're based in West Cork I’m more than happy to meet for a cup of tea, or if you're further afield we can have a chat on Skype.

• How Does Your Coverage Work?

Typically wedding coverage is 8 hours until the meal or 10 hours until the First Dance. Naturally every wedding is unique and packages can be tailored if you require something a bit different. Some couples for instance will have their speeches before the meal and we can of course capture the cutting of the cake during this time also. Coverage begins in the morning with your preparations (can include both the bride and groom getting ready), the ceremony, your couples portraits, group photographs & candids from the drinks reception.
